Day of the Bed
This series attempts to elevate and celebrate the bed, and the world it sustains - a private and fantastical place. I sought to capture a sense of comfort, of excitement, and a psychological space incorporating both sensuality and spirituality. Our waking attention is rarely focused on the physical object of the bed, and how it envelops us and supports us while we dream.
This work feels both universal and affecting-after all, at the end of the day, don't we all love our beds?
